South Shore Realtors® Code of Ethics Course Compliance Policy
Per the National Association of Realtors®' Bylaws: All REALTORS® are required to complete a 2.5 hour Code of Ethics training every three years. We are currently in Cycle 8 (1/1/25-12/31/27). The Code of Ethics Certificates will be accepted for 2.5 hour completed courses given by local MA Realtor® Associations (i.e. South Shore Realtors®) or the Massachusetts Association of Realtors®, National Association of Realtors®. Any certificates from a third party (not listed above) will need to be submitted to info@SouthShoreRealtors.com prior to cycle end date and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis to determine if the instructor/school meets NAR COE curriculum standards. If they do not meet the standards, the certificate will not be accepted and membership will be in jeopardy of suspension until a COE certificate satisfying requirements is submitted before cycle end date.
New in 2025, NAR is requiring all REALTORS® to complete a Fair Housing Training every three years, coinciding with Code of Ethics Cycle 8: 1/1/25-12/31/27. The following options will fulfill this requirement: Fairhaven 2.0, a free, NAR online simulation where members tackle real-world fair housing challenges.
The following 2 CE classes will satisfy your Fair Housing requirement for Cycle 8, as long as they are completed at an accredited RE school with an approve MA instructor (view that list below).
