A letter dated September 24, 2000
Since moving into my residence on Sept. 14th, I've had little time to sit down and write letters. However, I want to take this moment to write you and tell you that my experience with you, during a very stressful time in my life, was pleasantly mitigated due to the caring concern shown by you, during the selling of my house at 3011 Waverly Avenue in Oceanside.
I want to express special appreciation for the personal efforts and concern shown by Josephine Mercado, your listing sales agent. There were days she would call 2 or 3 times, to apprise me of what was going on, offer her advice as to maximizing the sales price, and advise or respond to any questions I had.
I especially appreciated that on the day of closing, she asked if my wife and I needed a ride and were comfortable driving ourselves to the closing at the mortgage company in Queens.
I will not hesitate to refer friends of mine, who are selling their homes, and tell them to ask for Ms. Mercado."
